My name is Yuewu Hou and you can call me Anna. 

I determine myself as an user experience improver.  I've spent 5 years working in the field of technology and support to build experiences that create value for people. It wasn't until I found Product Design that I discovered how my experience in storytelling, creating value and building empathy will come together with design as a new career.   

As a designer,

I seek inspiration from different fields and enjoy probleming solving through user-centric perspective and design thinking. I'm passionate about improving experience in the digital world and physical environment. I want to ask good questions and find strong solutions for users who live and experience a constantly changing world. I faithfully care about physical and mental well beings. 

As a working professional,

I am driven to work with diverse and empathy-focused teams. For me - transparency, collaboration are key to defining objectives, measuring outcomes, and balancing ideas.

I always appreciate when I receive support from individuals and communities, expressing my gratitude and passing that support to others. 

As a sport lover,

I got attracted to Ultimate frisbee during my study in college and decided to join the female team during my academic years,absorbing and learning from my teammates who are passionate sport lovers, natural leaders. I love passing that team spirit with other people during the last 8 years of playing Ultimate.
